Here’s How I Work.

Every project starts with one question: what is your goal? From there, we're refining audience, structure, strategy, and the words themselves. Whether you need a single deliverable or end-to-end communications support, the process is always the same: audience first, clarity always.

Services

All services are project-based. Scope and pricing can be customized.

Content Writing & Development

Where most projects begin.

You have something important to say. I help you say it in the clearest, most useful form for the people who need to hear it, whether that's a general public audience, healthcare professionals, policymakers, donors, or all of them at once (but if it is everyone, let’s talk about that first)!

What this looks like:

  • Website copy and content architecture

  • Campaign content across channels (web, email, social)

  • Policy and program communications

  • Advocacy materials and legislative summaries

  • Scripts and storyboards for video or multimedia

  • Annual reports, impact narratives, and donor communications

  • Educational materials and public-facing resources

Starting at $500 per project. Scope, format, and turnaround determine final pricing.

Colorful index cards, including yellow, pink, orange, and green, are spread out on a granite countertop. Some cards have handwritten notes in black ink, with a black pen placed on the green cards. The cards contain various handwritten notes, likely for a project or presentation, but the text is not fully legible.

Communications Strategy

You need more than a document.

Good content without strategy is just noise. I work with teams to define audience, clarify goals, map channels, and build a communications framework that makes every piece of content work harder.

What this looks like:

  • Communications audits

  • Audience definition and message mapping

  • Channel strategy and distribution planning

  • Strategic communications plans aligned to organizational goals

  • Campaign strategy and implementation roadmaps

  • Stakeholder engagement frameworks

Starting at $1,200 per project. Complexity and organizational size inform final scope.

Data Communication

Because a chart is only useful if people get it!

I work directly with data and research teams to translate findings into clear, compelling communication for non-technical audiences. Think strategic decisions about what data to surface, how to frame it, and what format serves your audience best.

What this looks like:

  • Data narrative development for reports and campaigns

  • Translating research findings for public or policy audiences

  • Guidance on data presentation and format decisions

  • Content development for data-driven campaigns

  • Collaboration with internal data, research, or evaluation teams

Starting at $600 per project. Scope depends on data complexity and deliverable format.

A note on how I work.

The tools available to communicators (and everyone) are changing fast. I'm paying attention. I use AI thoughtfully in my own workflow, and I believe the organizations that will communicate best in the coming years are the ones that figure out how to use these tools without losing their voice. That's something I'm actively building toward. If it's on your mind too, let's talk about it!
